Every image holds more than it allows us to see.
There is always another part of the scene that remains unseen,
a part that was present in the making of the moment, yet remained outside the frame.
When we see only the result, do we remember what made it possible?
And when we see the impact, do we ask who left it behind?
How does an essential presence become invisible?
How does the effort someone puts forth become something taken for granted?
Are those who leave their mark absent because they were never there?
Or because we have grown accustomed to looking at what is visible, while overlooking what lies behind it?
Who determines what deserves to be seen?
And who decides who remains within the image and who is left outside it?
And if every image conceals a part of its story,
is it the viewer’s responsibility to settle for what is revealed?
Or to seek out those who were never given a place within the frame?
