Ayman Elsemary
Born in 1965, Ayman Elsemary is an Egyptian painter and Professor of Painting at the Faculty of Art Education, Helwan University. He holds a PhD focused on postmodern art and has presented numerous solo exhibitions alongside extensive international participation, including major biennials such as Venice and Cairo. His work is represented in important public and private collections in Egypt and internationally.
Elsemary’s paintings explore abstraction, memory, and time through layered surfaces and restrained color. His visual language reflects a philosophical engagement with erosion, presence, and disappearance, positioning painting as an ongoing dialogue between history and intuition.
